Awards Foundation, Inc. presents a Free Children Christmas Party
The 'Caribbean Awards Foundation, Inc.' brings to you a Children Christmas Party on Sunday December 10th, 2006 at Café 400 713 Nostrand Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y. It's a FREE affair for the children, from 4pm - 9pm, with Santa arriving at 5:30 pm. The dress code is red, white, and green, creating a festive affair for the season. The Caribbean Awards Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization. For this 'Children Christmas Party', C.A.F. has derived a theme and invites all family members to enjoy a dose of Parang, Soca Parang, and much more festive music.
About The Caribbean Awards Foundation The Caribbean Awards Foundation, Inc. (C.A.F.) is a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION which was established in 2006 with the focus on further development and improvement in the Caribbean community and culture. C.A.F. was formed on the basis of a passion for the progression of Caribbean cultural entertainment. C.A.F. has developed a strategy that brings awareness to each aspect of the entertainment industry. Its primary goal is to award scholarships and assistance to adolescents whose main focus surrounds entertainment. With the many schools for the arts in the U.S.A., C.A.F. intends to expose selected youths to different environments and bestow upon them a solid, engaging, and complete education in the arts. For the award ceremonies, C.A.F. focuses on the struggles of individuals who have brought about change in the industry, while involving every genre from gospel to traditional calypso. The foundation was started to paint a vivid picture to those unaware of the astounding talent in the islands. The gradual acceptance and appreciation for Caribbean entertainment is sure to get a boost with the help of this organization that is set to bring four major annual award ceremonies to the Caribbean in years to come. C.A.F. carries great pride knowing that the support of the Caribbean community will be shown through acknowledgement of individual talent and efforts, and intends to light the torch in Trinidad and Tobago and be carried throughout the Caribbean with great accomplishments.
