Creig CamachoCREIG CAMACHO

"De Garlic Pork Man"

Hailing from the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Creig Camacho has firmly established himself as one of Central Florida's leading soca and reggae entertainers. Creig took on a solo career in 2001 after spending 8 years as lead singer for the band DEJA. This is where he gained his valuable experience and helped make DEJA Central Florida's number one Caribbean band. DEJA took Trinidad Carnival by storm in 1999, with the hit singles "Roll Someting", "Take ah Ting", "Doo Doo Darlin" and "Trinity". During that time, he also performed at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, promoting the sounds and culture of the Caribbean.

Creig joined forces with Leon Coldero and Code 868 in 2003 as one of the frontline vocalists for the band. Currently he is the president and owner of Cocobean Productions, an entertainment company that provides live Caribbean entertainment for many of the theme parks, resorts and conventions in Central Florida. Two of his bands, Mystik NRG and The Caribbean Crew, have been voted Best Caribbean Act, according to the readers of Orlando Weekly Magazine (Mystik NRG in 2003, 2004 & The Caribbean Crew in 2005, 2006). For more information on the company, please visit www.cocobeanproductions.com.

Creig CamachoMajor performances have included Trinidad Carnival, World Cup USA and the Olympic Games in Atlanta. Creig has worked with corporations such as Coca-Cola International, Orlando Magic, HBO and Budweiser. He has performed alongside reggae superstars Shaggy, Inner Circle, Beenie Man, Ziggy Marley and Sean Paul; soca artistes Machel Montano & Xtatik, Square One and Krosfyah; R&B performers Next and Tyrese; and even the rock band Sister Hazel. Performances have taken him throughout the USA, Canada and the Caribbean.

Even though his focus has changed to booking and managing entertainment, Creig continues to record music and still performs regularly at the top Caribbean festivals, conventions and concerts across the state of Florida. His latest release is a Soca Parang entitled "Garlic Pork", which is one of the biggest hits in Trinidad for the Christmas Season. He is now referred to as "De Garlic Pork Man" by many of the radio personalities in Trinidad. You can also look out for his 2007 carnival release entitled "Boatride", recorded with the band Mystik NRG.
