There is a famous movie line that goes “... build it and they will come.” Well now there a new version; “... invite the ladies and the guys will follow.” So whenever there is a Ladies Night you know TJJ up in dat ... we doh stick! And on this night, sixAxis Ent. invited none other than America's Next Top Model Cycle 10 finalist Stacy Ann (see official CW website) to host F.R.I.E.N.D.S. So if there are gonna be models in the party, we up in that early, and so said so done we actually managed to arrive before 1am ... and for us that’s early.

Stacy Ann and her entourage had already arrived, looking fashionable, so much for being fashionably late. Major Links was on the early set getting the crowd warmed up with some early Soca, while guest DJ Dorenzo was setting up. One of the things we like best about F.R.I.E.N.D.S is that its one of those parties you can come out to and see all your peeps, maybe they should call it P.E.E.P.S. - just kidding! But as the guys from sixAxis say, the formula for a good event is: Good People + Good Music + Good Food/Drink = Good Times! And there is always good people and good music, and for the lucky ones there is always good corn soup to cut the strong Sosta Lounge drinks with, so we would say they got all the variables in place.

The crowd was a lil' slow to arrive, but by 1:30am almost all had arrived and DJ Dorenzo was on the set mixing things up with some Hip Hop and R&B ... “lick lick lick lick like a lollipop!” So now the place getting full, so yuh have to find yuh space on the dance floor and hold it down. But there were nuff lovely ladies so anywhere you stood you was sure to be pleased. Later on we noticed that one mister SKHI was in attendance. Around 3:30am Stacy Ann took the mic to address the crowd, thanking everyone for coming out and introducing a song by and up and coming artist (who jus happened to be her husband) who will be performing at Best of the Best concert in Miami Memorial Day Weekend. The song had a Reggae, R&B feel to it and was well received, but then after that it was back to the Soca!

A good time was had by all, so much so that after the party everyone jus seemed to move to the parking lot and streets for more lime and good times. We hearing a rumor 'bout something big for the July episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. We can't confirm anything yet, but stayed tuned you know we will get the goods first!
