After much anticipation, All Is Yours Part II featuring Edwin Yearwood had arrived. Promoters Higher Image & Trini South Boyz hosted the one of its kind private All Inclusive Fete at the Yorkland Pub aka Police Association on Saturday 12th November.

Knowing that this was not your regular every day fete, TJJ rolled up at a decent hour... eleven thirty-ish and was pleased to see that media and regular line moved well. The fete was off to a good start - nuttin worse than a disorganized line up out in de cold! Partygoers were greeted by the sexy ladies of Higher Image who were distributing cups in order for feters to have access to their drinks. So that meant if you lose your cup, you lose your drink! We held on to ours tight, tight!!

After doing we usual socializing, it was time to put this "All Is Yours" event to the TJJ test. First up, ALL YOUR Food and Fuel. We made movements to de bar only to be caught up in a 25 minute line. Now we were not sure if this was a strategic move or not, but the bar service was definitely way too slow for an All-Inclusive event! While in line for drinks, we were taunted by the nice smellin food on the other side of the room. But that line was just as long so that was a slight deterrent from having a bite to eat. So sad to say, we missed out on the Chinese & Indian cuisine, which we hear was real good... iz corn soup on de way out again! :-)

In the other room, the party was in full swing and de music was on FYAH!!! ALL YOUR Favorite DJs were in da house... Court Jester, DJ Chief, D'Enforcas and Bad Lad. As usual, Court Jester & D'Enforcas had the crowd jammin to some nice soca tunes... "I say ding da ding ding, ding da ding ding ding, High Grade!!" With DJ Chief changing beats with the latest and greatest reggae tunes. Of course, large up to S.K.F and D' Farmers Rhythm Section crew. However, what was up with the fire alarm going off??!! TWICE!! But like real West Indians, if there is no smoke well it eh urgent! LOL. So ALL YOUR People just continued to fete away and enjoy the music! There might have been some serious football fever going around with TnT on the verge of going to Germany for World Cup 2006.

At approximately 1:30am, Bajan guest artist Edwin Yearwood began his performance. Singing ALL YOUR Big Tunes like "Wet Me" and "Pump Me Up" he had the crowd in a nice groove, and continued to tantalize them with his newer hits like "Weekend" (also on his latest album titled Next to You). Although Edwin's performance was amazing, the only issue (no fault of his) was that there was no stage so many people were not able to see Edwin Yearwood perform but just listen. Not having some form of a stage was a big miss - not fair to both the performer and more important, the fans!! The performance lasted about 30 minutes, and soon after, the fire alarm was triggered again (yes again) and this time fire marshals arrived and proceeded to evacuate all partygoers. With that said, we were on our way home around 2:30am.

This event definitely had it's good along with it's bad, but an All-Inclusive event with a big name soca artist for just $30, you really cannot complain. Ah mean how many times have you paid $30+ for just cover charge and 2 drinks?!! With that said, big big thanks to Higher Image and Trini South Boyz for allowing TJJ to pass through and enjoy ALL IS YOURS. Nuff respect to dem for bringing the "All-Inclusive" concept Trini-style to Toronto. Oh yes, look out for the Spain section of Genesis mas band, who had live models displaying their costumes at the fete, for TnT Carnival 2006!

Reviews of the All Is Yours - "What De People Say"
On our way out, were heard some feedback that we wanted to share with the promoters...
Great venue - free parking - easy entry line up
The bar locked off too early, and there should have been a separate line or bar for non-alcoholic drinkers
It was "All Inclusive" but you had to pay for beer - this should have been mentioned in promotions
Great food! However, cuisine (Chinese & Indian) should have been in two separate locations so people had a quick choice and reduced wait time
The DJs/Music was excellent
