EARTHQUAKE
Date: Friday 10th June 2005
Venue: Bayside Hut, Miami FL
Promoters: Island United & Itchi Baba

Well follow feters, it would seem that in the game of Rock Paper Scissors... Tropical Storm beats Earthquake... because that is exactly what happened last Friday night. Maximus Dan was scheduled to appear at Bayside Hut for Islands United and Itchi Baba's 1st installment of their Live Concert Series entitled "Earthquake". However, the arrival of the first named Tropical Storm of the season (Arlene) kept most of you away, including Maximus Dan!

TJJ headed out on the road admittedly a lil late as what was supposed to be a quick 'resting of the eye' turned into a full blown nap, that almost derailed the entire night's plans. When we got on the road, it was wet but not raining, and hopes were high for a good turnout until we ran into a serious monsoon!!! We talking horizontal rain, driving 15 mph with hazard lights on. After a few miles it was over... that is how South Florida weather stay! Don't act like allyuh ent accustomed, because it's jus like dat back home too... pouring hard now and nothing in a few minutes! ;-)

So the few faithfuls came out, and we must say there were some new faces in the house too, with out-of-towners from Pennsylvania and Port St. Lucie making the trip despite the weather. And as any regular Bayside Hut partygoer knows, once it have people and music under the hut, folks does have a good time! We defy you to find anybody that was there that did not enjoy themselves. And if you don't believe us that people really left their yard with a Tropical Storm watch in effect, check the pics! Looking forward to seeing everyone that made it out and the rest of you that didn't at 3Some on Friday 17th June.

Also, get ready for Bunji Garlin Live Concert Series on Friday 8th July at Bayside Hut. No water can put out this Fire!!!
