The Global Meeting... history in the making! On Saturday 3rd December, 2005 The Base Carpark took hold to a performance by headline act Ian Van Dahl. Annemie Coenen, vocalist and her 2 back up dancers from "The Move" dance school in Belgium are well renowned in the House music arena internationally. Well yuh dun know Trini Jungle Juice (TJJ) gots to be at all the exclusive events.

We reached down about eleven-ish. Cars galore... like this rounds we were definitely the last ones to get there!! :-) Stepping on the inside, we couldn't help but to noticed the huge stage and large crowd gathered around it. Of course we had to scope out the crowd a little more closely. As we cruised over to VIP, we observed that patrons were socializing and enjoying themselves. The vibes seemed pretty nice! Oh boy, don’t talk about over in VIP, with free Premium brand drinks! Niceness for so!!

At about 11:30 PM the stage took to life with some opening acts kicking things off. Big up Ataklan!! Shortly after this, we felt something. Wait, what was that? Rain!! Drama yes... people looked for shelter and mingled there until it stopped. Good thing it was just a passing cloud. Kes The Band, one of the main performances of the night was up next. Kes captivated the crowd and truly brought out an extra burst of energy from the audience. One female patron even got the opportunity to be with him on stage for a short dance. "Ohhh whoooa... I love the way you move it girl..." With a performance that touched both Soca and Rock genres, he definitely delighted the crowd. Run d'big 2006 track "Stay With Me."

Bringing a reggae vibe to the mix, were two of Trini's very own reggae sensations, Isasha and Million Voice. With hit tune “Don’t You Know,” they kept the hype of the party going. Afterwards it was back to the music with DJs High Fidelity/Less Than Zero, DJ Elements, Lennox and XTC. They entertained the crowd as people waited in anticipation. We all know who was up next. With some dynamic lighting and pyrotechnics, Ian Van Dahl finally hit the stage. Giving a performance that was second to none, partygoers were totally entertained and satisfied.

Busspepper Promotions really brought an intercontinental flavour to Trinidad. Thanks for the hospitality guys!! And we cannot forget to give a special shout to Mateen for the VIP hook ups. We looking forward to linking up we UK massive at Busspepper's Cuchi La La event on Dec 10th... Parang in London, whoaaa!!
