Well yes, the masses really came out in their numbers to see what the Poison Mas Band had to offer them for Carnival 2k6. The deck at Pier 1 was ram pack with people. The TJJ crew reached down at about eight and with no time to stick, we headed stage-side to catch the action. Poison's Carnival presentation for 2006 "Dreams" had just begun.

Now Poison, being one of the large Mas bands in TnT, had quite a lengthy on stage presentation. Wow... talk bout sections in this band!!! We know that the crowd responded quite well to what they saw because there was a definite buzz in the air during the display of costumes by the sexy models. Also, as Carnival draws closer and registration for some bands already in progress, potential masqueraders need to get the ball rolling and lock down on their costumes before they get left out of the action come next year. Especially since some bands already sell out!

After the presentation, the party went back into full swing. Imij and Co. did their thing and had partygoers really moving. Big up Michelle X & Ghetto Flex! It was like a small Carnival yes! Nuff breezees (women) and endless waist pelting. Pure niceness! The session went until about half past twelve. Study this, even after the DJ play last song and music stop, people still didn't want to go home. They all assembled by the Point Fortin Engine Room rhythm section, chipping along to de beat. The vibes were so sweet, that we even started capturing some of the action as people headed to their cars.

Once again Poison definitely coming out hot for Carnival... and the band launch, well let's just say it was great! We can't stand de heat... run de big track while taking in the photos... Wet Meh. Aye not forgetting, we would like to say a special thanks to the Poison Committee for extending an invitation to Trini Jungle Juice to witness the festivities. Cheers!
