At 6pm Trini Jungle Juice (TJJ) was prepin’ at home for de fete of the summer… making sure de drinks in de car trunk for the pre parking lot lime, and de TJJ camera batteries well charged for the evening... because yuh know when TJJ on de scene de action start! We rolled up in the car park about 7:30pm, and yuh could tell dat people was there since de festivities started at 12 noon...‘cause all de pelau pots empty and the coolers only have water! The only ones left liming in the parking lot at this time was de slackers who feel dat fete eh start till dey reach…uhm uhm... we not mentioning anybody right now.

Anyways, TJJ outside lime move to inside lime at about 8:30pm, and boy if yuh see people, everybody was jumping and gettin' on bad... waving rags and flags in one hand with a drink in de next. Of course, there was no spillage of alcohol during this bacchanal... they need to create an event for this in the Olympics! De fete was in full swing and not about to stop any time soon!

After following the Roti & Doubles sign, we were in glee... taking in some doubles and fresh breeze. Then from the main stage inside, we heard a sweet voice singing... "Tonight will be forever... tonight will be forever.." It was the original "Man ah Bad Man" Bud outta Jamaica. We ah tell ya, this man voice wicked too bad. Definitely look out for TJJ interview with Bud (we video production room kinda busy lately... but we have lots of exciting interviews and fete clips for you... it comin', it comin').
