Well yes, Miami Carnival 2006 come and gone, and iz dat time again for Big Phat Fish (BPF)... de fete that come rain or shine, always turns out to be ah good time. TJJ got there around 12:45 am. There was no line to come in, which we found unusual and when we got inside de party, only ah scant few were by de bar. Thinking people tired of soca and have no money to spend due to Carnival the week before, TJJ say de party bus! Eh heh? Who tell we tuh say dat! Even though the crowd wasn't as big as usual, slowly but surely people started coming in and by around 2am the party was in full swing. But Lawd! We West Indians real living up to we reputation of being late!

De music provided by DJ's Adrenalyn, Sel Construction and Private Ryan was real good. Just when yuh thought yuh would get sick of one type of music, de DJ's would switch it up. From soca to reggae to hip-hop, de music kept de crowd going. De crowd... yes leh we talk about dem. The ratio of women to men was about 3 to 1. De probability of a man takin a wine on a woman was quite high, so fellas, yuh real lapse if yuh didn't take advantage of dat opportunity! ;-)

After a long, hot and sizzling summer, Miami is finally starting to cool down. So if yuh looking to dance the night away under the stars with a fantastic river view of Downtown Miami, then BPF is the place to be. With a Caribbean flare that can't be beat, yuh know BPF is a party yuh can't miss. Cool breeze, great music, drinks flowing. We can't wait til next month for de next one!
