Bank Holiday, so you know what that means.... Cocoyea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wear something Red, White or Black Fete!!!!!!!!

Coming out in their numbers, not only Trini's from London but people from all over ... Barbados to the ends of St. Lucia. Man, sometimes you think you know all the Caribbean islands but you really don't.

The DJ's were surely in the swing of things ... Main Floor: Cocoyea Soca Army - Martin Jay, Mike Forbes, Vinny Ranks, DJ Roughneck, Che in the mix, DTee. Floor 1: Soca Massive. Floor 3 (The Cocoyea Next Generation): Excalibur feat. Mr Mention & JA. Trendsetters Machine & QT 2Hype & Lyrical Louix.

When DJ Roughneck started his selection he surely knew what the crowd wanted to hear, playing big tunes like "Ting 4 D Road" and "3 Miles" the crowd went wild. He had the crowd fully charged with that mad feeling with Machel Montano's 2005 hit "Madder Dan Dat". With the crowd waving and jumping, there was no way that anyone could hold that love and unity down. He also added a bit a reggae tunes from the man that's currently burning up the charts worldwide, Sean Paul.

So, the Soca Warriors did not win their friendly on Saturday, so what! Everyone was still out in their numbers showing their respect to the boys wearing the TnT National colors, win or loose. We got a glimpse of Dexter, Cocoyea promoter, who was surely in the swing of things himself. Quoted by a Soca Warriors fan, "This was a fete that I would have not missed, I ain't going to Germany but if this is how I show my support this is what I will do. To the Soca Warriors, all the best and God Bless, do us proud!!"

That's all for now, til next time Sherine gone!
