TJJ was on the scene round midnight. The entrance to the venue well decorated with cloth and banners. On the inside the vibes was still mellow but the media reps were out in there numbers. We decided to mingle a bit with the crowd and enjoy some of the many drinks available at the four well stock bars. There was also a cocktail bar with some delicious finger foods being served as well. When we say being served, we literally mean being served! There were pretty young ladies serving patrons through the crowd.

Well besides the girls working at the cocktail bar, there were also plenty other women that came out to party and have a good time ... the Mood Ryngz crew looking sexy as usual. The venue was big so it was fairly easy to move through the crowd. Committee International had catered for its usual huge crowd turnout, however, the masses weren't out in their strong numbers. Maybe it was the timing of the event?? Middle of the month, Trinis tend to be a little low on cash! On de other hand, looking at the question from a different perspective, could it be that Trinis tired lime?? What ah ting!! Who would believe that! TJJ is going to have to look in to that theory a bit deeper before we could believe such. Maybe the Soca Warriors' celebration had taken on toll on the Trini wallet??!! Maybe folks were in Germany??!! All food for thought.

It took a while for the DJs to get the crowd to come up front, but after two local artists step on de stage, the pace began to increase. Big up to Soca artist Jungle who really brought the ladies to the front of the dance with his 2006 hit "By Your Side". Jugglers Sound came in next and dun de place. They really heated things up and got he vibe going. The hypa man himself Hypa Hoppa and de Radioactive crew came on next and continued in keep the dance heated. We don't have to tell ya Hoppie secret weapon. Here is a clue ... Tony Matterhorn! Talk bout "Dutty Wine". Dat seemed to be his favorite selection. Many attempted to impress the crowd with their version of the dutty wine which Hoppie always thought was not 'dutty' enough!! Radioactive really got interactive with the crowd, and this seemed to be the main highlight of the night's activities.

Well until de next event ... TJJ out!!
