What? De last Fresh Fete Friday (FFF) before T&T Carnival 2006? You know Trini Jungle Juice had to reach! We rolled into Zanzibar, the new home of FFF, just before midnight. The line was moving fast so we didn't mind waiting with de people. When we reach de door, we were met by the promoters and it was straight in... Nice!

Once in, we did our usual walk through. The party was not in full swing yet, you know how West Indians love to come fashionably late. But before we knew it, the club was getting crowded. We saw a good mix of people ... and judging from the flags being waived, we could tell a variety of islands were represented.

DJ Spice, 2004 International Soca DJ, & Back to Basics played everything from vintage to 2006 Soca & Reggae. De madness started when the DJ dropped de "Bomb Song" by Bunji Garlin... "helicopter come, look helicopter come" …Yes, people were going wild. As Machel say, "Scandalous ... jumping up delirious!" It look like dey ready for Carnival 2k6!

Party done at 4pm. Music stop, lights come on & TJJ still chatting ... only ting left was to help de people sweep de floor!! We must big up Klimaxx Entertainment and the big NY DJs for the love. We will see everyone for sure at the next Fresh Fete Friday... we believe it's going to be March 10, 2006. Stay tuned to DC Events listings.
