Yeah, ah de Caublasian discussing de first party for de Appelton Treasure Island weekend. Dis was de kick off, and had to set de tone for de entire weekend.

Yeah man, de presha was on, but wid Coppershot spinnin' me nuh sure how you could really go wrong. Now given this was de second holiday weekend of parties, me neva did expect to see so much people, but I guess each weekend brought it's own crowd, and relevant age groups. Or well, in some cases, dem did just do both! (Cyaan wrong you, me woulda do de same if me did live dere). As you get in de Mug Madness people great you at de gate, get a mug an get unlimited re-fill for de night (dat don't seem like a problem to me), and so started de collection of mugs fe de weekend, me tink me have de whole set now. Of course once you get a drink on to de stage area fe see what really a gwaan inside.

De five star general was on board checking tings out, while MC deh pon de mike keeping de hype up. Dere was pizza inside fe sale incase you needed sum'm fe sop up de liquor and as me always walk wid me belly me did have some, and it did taste nice yes ... not as nice as pan chicken man outside de gate! Yes man, it was good to be home, great to be in Negril, and VIP provided and excellent start to what was a weekend to remember.
