In the large band category, its often common for sections to host individual and separate launching of their own. By doing so they are able to obtain a more personal or some say 'one on one' relation with potential masqueraders, which just might be the special touch needed in persuading folks to register in their section.

"La Marche Sur Versailles", a section from the band Trini Revellers had such a launch up at the Ambassador Hotel on Sunday 19th November.

Carded to take place between the hours of 6 PM to 12 AM, most folks really arrived around nine-ish. While the crowd waited in anticipation for the presentation, we took the opportunity to mingle and capture a few shots as well. Also, being media, we were granted the special privilege of a complimentary bar while we worked. VIP treatment... always a plus!! **wink**

At quarter past ten the costume presentation began, with the male models coming on first and opening the way. Shortly after, the sexy female models strutted on stage, displaying the brightly coloured and chic costumes. As cameras flashed away, patrons took an intense look at all the costumes being presented. In the presentation which lasted for about 15 minutes, some members of the audience were even given a small teaser of how much fun it would be on de road with "La Marche Sur Versailles", as they got to take a small wine with the models. Aye Aye Aye!

After the presentation, there was even a distribution of prizes for several winners of the door prize. Believe it or not, even TJJ staff was given ah little something as well. Niceness!!

We definitely need to say special thanks to Angela, Marketing Director of BakahnaliA Productions. The hospitality and love was most appreciated. Until the next one folks...
