It almost seems like we were just covering a Mother's Day concert and now before the blink of an eye, Father's Day is upon us! TJJ was back up in the Jean Pierre Complex to vibes up the Morgan Heritage concert. This Father's Day show was titled "A Family Affair" and was put on by the Hadeed brothers. It had loads of performances from the local reggae fraternity and ended with the 5 member group, The Royal Family of Reggae, Morgan Heritage.

Live entertainment began at about 10:30 pm. The stage took to life with some of T&T's up and coming reggae artists as they gradually paved the way for the highlight of the night. Some acts that made a stir in the crowd were from the likes of Levi Myaz, King David, Isasha, Million Voice and Prophet Benjamin. After Prophet's performance, DJ of the night Judah Int. took over on the 1's and 2's. They bussed some vibration tunes to entertain the masses as people awaited the coming of Morgan Heritage.

At ten minutes to the stroke of midnight, the boys from St. Thomas, Jamaica made their way to the stage. With over 7 big albums, Morgan hyped the crowd with such selections as "Tell Me How Come", "Your Best Friend", "Don't Haffi Dread", "Psalm 23", "Down By The River" and "What We Need Is Love" amongst countless others. They gave about a full 2 hour performance which closed off the night's activities. An interesting highlight of Morgan's performance though, was when they paid special tribute to the Soca Warriors and even changed outfits to the national team's uniform replicas. It was a true showing of Caribbean support towards our team's efforts in the 2006 World Cup at Germany. One Love!!
