With so many All Inclusives for the Carnival season, we need to start looking at what makes one fete better than the other. Well to hold a fete on the same say as Panorama and still pull a crowd, All Inclusive or no All Inclusive you must be doing something right! Held on the lush greens of the Chaguaramas Golf Course, the 4th Annual U.S. Embassy All Inclusive was definitely one of the great highlights of the Carnival Season. From small considerations such as parking to the variety of eats, drinks and music it was definitely another success.

TJJ arrived from as early as minutes after 4pm and were directed from the carpark to the shuttles to the venue. Though the number of shuttles left something to be desired, their turnaround speed compensated. Is still a good thing we reach before the masses began arriving ;-) Touching down on de inside, various memorabilia was made available at the door and Angostura 1919 was the order of the day. Being an All Inclusive, we had to rolled around and check out the variety and selections. From our observations, we could see that all ethnicities were represented in the culinary area and the drink choice quite wide! Let's not fail to mention, we talking Premium alco here.

The Point Fortin Engine Room put in a spectacular performance before Roy Cape All Stars took the stage as the first act at about 6:30 pm. Lead singers Blaxx and Rita Jones sure got folks in the "Carnival Feeling." Following on Roy Cape's heels at about 7:20 pm was Destra Garcia. Putting in one of her energetic performances, she continued to keep the crowd jumping ... jumping!! I want to see you jumping! .... Pumping ... Pumping! ... Everybody! Start de waving now! The fete's tempo was definitely alive now.

The DJs also did an excellent job. Mixing the soca from vintage back in de day styles all de way to big 2K6 tunes. Shurwayne Winchester hit the stage at 10 pm. At this time, the crowd was at maximum vibe. With hits like "It's All About You" and "Can't Wait" along with his trademark moves the crowd was begging for more.

By 11 pm the party drew to a close. Well hear nah folks, after expending all their energies, some patrons still had in it them to trek all the way to their vehicles. The more patient, maybe less energetic and tired folks chose to chose to wait around for the shuttles that brought them in. Wouldn't you know it, TJJ chose to join a merry mass of partygoers and stretched our legs under the lovely moonlit sky as well. Special thanks to local U.S. Embassy staff member Cicely and big Up to TJJ peoples like Keith for representing. Next year we will definitely be back peoples!
