Wednesday April 26th was the launch of Stockholm's newest and best webradio, Vibes46.com and Trini Jungle Juice had to be there. The dance took a while to warm up so we had to go and watch Barcelona defend it, but as soon as the game was won, we was inna de dance.

The venue was Gölla Källare in Medborgaplatsen, South Stockholm. Its a huge underground venue, three rooms, three bars, beds along the length of balcony in the main room, banging sound system, all we needed was the tunes and the people.

Vibes46 plays Hip-Hop, RnB, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton, Drum and Bass, the DJ line up was 23 strong, and with three live acts the tunes were going to be deep and varied. Entrance was free all night so the crowd started to pile in from about eleven - it was gonna be a wicked night. Miss DJ warmed up the crowd with some Hip Hop and Dancehall mixes, little later on Beat Surgeons amazed the crowd with some wicked scratching and mixing in the upstairs bar.

By midnight the attention went to the main room where Tristes Tigres was bussin that new Reggaeton shizzle, and drivin the girls wild, nuff man had to run off the dancefloor cause they couldn't keep up with that Latin flavour and hardcore winin, but you know TJJ could handle the bizzle!!

Trinity Sound representing dancehall with MC Fabulous G from TnT who came on and kept the crowd hype, with some wicked new dubs and an energetic performance. Enter Lady Sensation stage left, chanting and singing some original and refixed dancehall ting, keeping the crowd rocking till the first headline act Govenor Andy made his appearance.

The boss was his usual dapper self, bussin that wicked Swedish dancehall reggae style, you haven't heard nothing till you've heard these guys (Govenor Andy and Million Stylez) chant up the place in Swedish (and some English). They were on stage at least forty five minutes each and it was 'han in a de air ' all the way!

Later on it was the turn of 'db', with some dutty stinkin Drum and Bass and junglist to rock the crowd in the main room while Ras-I-Door, and Aphex Sound was givin it to the roots reggae crowd and Boboshanti Prophet Andreas in the lounge.

The dance wound down nicely, and Sweden Jungle Juice crew was off running to Mickey D's to catch a cheesy one and the night bus home. Stay tuned for more coverage from this end of the globe.
