Sunday May 21st and the long weekend is slowly coming to an end but that certainly does not mean that the fete'in stops. Up on the agenda was "Just the way you like it" promoted by Ian & Kolin as a 'Mature Party Affair!'
Arriving on the scene around 11:30pm, it was definitely a mature crowd on the inside. No rags, no sportswear, everybody dressed real nice ... serious, no runners and headgear! This set the ambiance of the kinda dance it would be. The fete was already in full swing and the vibe in the air was one of ease and relaxation, which was a nice change of pace. The venue was nice, very spacious.
Soca Vibes Sound System kept the vibes going with sweet tunes from back in the day to the current hot beats of 2006. Oh, one thing we didn't like was the fact that the sound system didn't fill up the entire venue properly. Sound check ppl, sound check!
Overall, a nice time was had by all. It was more of a vibesin' crowd than ah fetin' crowd, but like we said, a nice switch up. Much thanks to Ian and Kolin for allowing TJJ to pass through.
