Water is one the 5 elements, it covers most of this planet, makes up a large percentage of our bodies and is vital to human survival, we mean they fought over it in the Thunderdome. Well now we know why it makes for one helluva fete.

Bayside Hut was the place and the 2nd Annual Wet Fete "Agua Florida" was the occasion. We did good this time around getting there before 1AM, but, so did a lot of other folks! Parking was all out by the main entrance, so we find a spot and make the trek to the Hut. Thanks to TSB, we were on the inside in two two's, nice. Only a few diehards were occupying the dance floor on the 'wet' side, but from the line we left outside and the smallies running around with guns and bikini tops we could see the potential for a good night. The 'dry' side was under the Hut and it was already quite full with those who came to Wet Fete but did not want to get wet, (makes no sense to us either), but whatever everyone was having a good time wet or dry.

We don't know what it is but water does just make everyone freeup themselves. Kinda hard to act stush if you dripping wet. It took some folks a lil while to get into the swing of things, but once the hose man spotted them looking too dry it was over. And, because the wet side was right next to the outside bar it was kinda hard for those not under the hut to stay dry, including the bartenders and the DJ. It might be worth it for next time to have the wet side down in the pit, leaving more space for the dry folks.

Trust us as the night went on, space was at a minimum - wet or dry side. It resembled the party scene from Matrix Revolution ... only they did not have Benjai on the inside, and Wet Fete did!! There were some difficulties with the mic, so the performance was not the best, Benjai live is still always a highlight ... "I've gottttttttt someting, but it's cold I say ... I've gottttttttttttttt someting, but it's coooold I say ... I've gotttttttttttttttttttttttt someting, but it's cooooooooold I say ... yo ... gimme gimme ganja yo!" As the night wore down, it was obvious that a good time was had by all and the long July 4th Weekend was just starting. Next stop BeneFete!!
