Caution’s venue is never disclosed to the public before the actual fete itself. This year ISLANDpeople took the antics a little further by claiming to reveal the party’s secret location on a youtube 3 part series. Well after logging on hoping to get de 411, nuff Trini's get de chain up! That’s right... not a clue was revealed.

So we guess it was back to the usual drive down Chaguaramas in search of the venue, but the hunt was not too tedious this time around as upon entering the vicinity of MOBS 2, the activity level was so high .... everyone had to know that this was where de action was going down!

After pulling up a park a little after midnight, we went through the usual checking off with the guest list at the front door. But wehhhh!!!!!! The girls at the front looked sweet with their yellow Caution vest type minis, and doh talk for the crowd.... maybe a few 1000’s! But say what, a regular occurrence at an ISLANDpeople event.

Well TJJ had to check out the scene, and by extension, de bar. Great surprises were in stored here as the drinks were on 3 4 1 specials until 1 AM ... so you know we had to take advantage! ;-) After having a few, it was soon time to wuk. Yuh know how de time cud fly! Walking through the crowd the ambiance was as always in tack with the theme, which this year was “RECYCLE”, so there were old news papers, aluminum foil, and bottles integrated into the décor design concept. At certain points confetti (which was also made of recycled paper) was shot into the air along with smoke machines and all, bringing back the memories and kinda vibes experienced mainly at Carnival fetes. There were also several Caution signs placed all over the venue, with messages encouraging folks to recycle.

Enough about that.... it's a huge dance and people partying hard. Most seemed jolly as smiles lit up the faces of many. Big up High Fidelity/Less than Zero who kept the masses hyped. While continuing to move through the party, we ran into hundreds of familiar faces, new faces, sexy women by de bag, local celebs, de Stag girls, Caution girls and Metro fellows (those who ent mind the pics).

The music was also affected by the recycle theme. Selections that were not heard in ages were pulled out of the musical archives causing many folks to say to out loud “oh gosh ... when las ya hear this one!” As always, this party goes to the break of dawn, and the rising of the sun somehow always brings out an extra burst of energy in folks. If you see how some people now start to get on baddd!

Around minutes to 6, as nice as de vibes were, it was about that time for us to call it a night (or shall we say morning). Driving away from the party with no need for headlights, breakfast soon became our next agenda. Who say doubles?
