Woodford Café has been hosting performances on Tuesdays for people who appreciate our home grown music. Which we think is great because we got great music here, and nuff talent that's waiting to burst out.

Anyways, as usual never on time, but for people who like to be on time - performances usually starts at 9:30pm. So KES the Band began warming up for their performance looking the part of Punk Rock, but actually coming to sing Soca, which is cool though. People where all there to support them and Woodford Café was packed. Now what is even greater about this is that other entertainers and folks in the industry came out to support also. We asked Woodford Café owner, Benny, why he endorses these events and he told us, "It's to promote our music, for we love it, and exposure is the only way we can show our talent."

KES The Band performed with Nadia Batson singing her strong vocals that definitely come from her large bosoms... wow, I wish I had some of those... hehe. Anyway, I like performances at the Woodford Café venue, but generally I prefer my Soca outside and blasting, as opposed to with acoustic sounds in a small space. KES The Band give a great performance, singing songs like "Crash", "The Calling", "Our Prayer", "Caribbean Girl" and "My Land", but I'll still like to see them in an outside setting. But heh, don't really matter what my view is, EVERYONE I asked said they had a great time and they really enjoyed the vibes.

Well, Tuesday at the Café is a 2 Stag up night.... kinda hard to do with a camera in hand, but anything in this world is possible!
