Ah yes is J'Ouvert, is party time, fete up, dance up, jump up and drink up time. So after a lil delay to park we enter the new entrance (which was nice cause we didn't have to stand on de road!) Ah yes, music, free drinks, and girls covered in paint... .... .... hold on... ... ... wait.... we thinking... ... no we can’t think of anything better.

Now I was already in the party and had just about had my first sip of my vodka (my choice beverage), when I suddenly noticed that ah could hear people talking. EH? The music was off? Some “technical difficulties” folks. (you can read the full story on www.hybridevents.tv while it's still posted) But no fret. In true true Caribbean fashion, the wildness, paint throwing, and drinking continued without missing a beat (well okay, perhaps we skipped ah lil beat).

Eventually they opened up the inside club for us to get our music on. It was tight... nah It was “cozy” inside. We couldn’t tell who was who woman or man on the inside. Didn’t seem to matter and that’s what the J'Ouvert is all about- let it hang loose, RIGHT? ;-) And believe you me, ah saw “loose”. Anyways, everyone was having ah hell of ah good time. Now we know some sour puss will say something negative about the party, and hopefully they went home early to allow real partiers to enjoy themselves fully.

The different rooms with different music genres were great. You could go take a Jamaican wine and then come for a Trini wine. Nice, very nice. The bar was also decent on the wait time. Like we said; music, free drinks, and girls covered in paint...... nope, nothing better!
