I have to say that I thought that the promoters of Naked, Islands United along with Absolute Adventure couldn’t do much more to mix up the party scene in South Florida. Boy was I wrong! When the TJJ crew arrived en scene, it was people fuh so and rel long lines. At this point people were only allowed inside club Revolution as they were still getting things set up in the outdoors area. But you could tell by the excitement on everyone’s face that they were looking forward to the performance by Bajan wining sensation, Allison Hinds.

Within an hour of partying with the early birds, the inside of the club was suddenly ram with people. DJ Dorenzo kept things hot, just teasing the crowd with a taste of what was to come. By the time I got enough sense to venture outside, I was truly shocked at the turnout. It faintly reminded me of Bacchanal Wednesday... but they have some more work to do before they get on that level. ;-) Still, the party drew people from all walks of life and I can attest to this because I even saw my relatively conservative 40 sumn' aunty there. LOL

I must definitely make mention of the DJs who made the wait for Ms. Hinds truly enjoyable. Like Prodigy Sounds (large up everytime), Black Chinee (of course) and Giselle D Wassi One the host and MC for the night. Finally though, around 3:30ish AM, after about as much anticipation as we could handle, the Bajan Soca Queen finally graced us with her radiant presence. She got straight down to business, starting them off with a pore raising “Posse!!!...... lemme see yuh raise yuh haaaaands”. The 30 minute set included all the favorites and she even buss a new tune for the massive, not really sure what the name was but from the chorus we go call it “My Space” (yeah, dat is it). You catch that and the rest of her performance on TJJ TV. If is one thing Alison could do is wine and she certainly delighted the audience with the mesmerizing movements of her body. Two brave gentlemen ventured on-stage, and one departed as quickly as he arrived. The 'Lone Winer' buss some kinda matrix wine but it was apparent that he couldn’t handle all d pressure that Ms. Hinds put on him, who amongst us really could. She ended her performance and d party with her smash hit “Roll It”, moving her hips like she was ah snake oil gyal. It was now after 4AM and Ft. Lauderdale police doh play that, party have fi done, but the crowd not yet done for the night serenaded the songtress with their favorite Alison Hinds tune.

I must make special mention to the original fireman, Bunji Garlin, who also graced the party as a V.I.P onlooker. Party wasn’t called "Sex Appeal" for nothing!

I mus add my two cents to this also. Big up Dave!! NAKED been talking bout a Soca Room long time now, but finally I can report that it was legit on this night, Dorenzo and House Arrest kept the Soca jamming inside Revolution for the Soca lovers and those not wanting to deal with the massive 3000 strong crowd outside. Anytime ah pass thru Soca playing, and ah pass thru nuff times, mostly looking for Cha who was missing in action, next time ah know to jus look on stage.... like she think she's stage security, yes! ;-)

Party was real nice this rounds, real ram and nuff amount of Soca play, hopefully they stick to this formula or something close to it in the future, we go see and I will tell.
