Posse, you must know by now that TJJ always arrives early o'clock to check out the scene. The 4th quarter Saturday fete was held at a restaurant/bar called Secrets. A well kept secret at that, with it's modern décor, luxurious seating for dining and fabulous French doors that lead you to the bar and dancefloor with the VIP room at the rear. Ladies, you know how we always make a beeline to the powder room as we reach.... gotta freshen up the lip-gloss and fluff the hair. You would enjoy this one with the fabulous fixtures and frosted glass tabletop sink. Righto!

Unlike parties in Trini, the norm in Brooklyn is to reach a fete anytime around 1am or so. But it appears that either Caribbean people are all jacked up with the new change in daylight saving this year or they decided that 1am still to early to reach ah fete! Ah mean it's 2am and the fete now building vibes.... feteing in BK is ah whole different scene, yes. So TJJ Team 1 heads on over to Alison Hinds Live at The Base nightclub, and TJJ Team 2 makes a smooth substitute. 2:30am and the fete in full swing, as it should be. The guys and gals were quite stylish and ready to party.

We checked out the bar scene, and the drinks were definitely on point. DJ Spice, Jugglers, Anonymous and The People's Sound all did a nice job on the one's and two's, flinging down the hottest Soca, Hip-Hop and Reggae. Speaking of Reggae, dem girls love de "Hot Wuk"!!! Ay! Ay! Ay! We saw all different versions of the dance. My word! Not to mention, the Soca sessions had the crowd sweating with hits like "Jumbie" and "Down D Road."

When we look at our watch twice, it was well after 4:30am. The party continued until the wee hours of the morning and people eventually stumbled and mumbled out heading home. Well done Spice and The Incredibles, looking forward to Part 3!
