Up and about, TJJ exploring the scene.... this time we went next door to de sister isle, Tobago. Located just off the Milford Road is the hot spot of Tobago referred to as “a cool scene” or “The Shade”.

We decided to drop in and check out the scene on the weekend Friday/Saturday to see how it differed to Trinidad's night life. So we reach the cool spot about 1 AM on both nights, linked up with the club's management, and in we were. 1st order of business.... drinks! We gotta see how efficient de bar service is! ;-)

Moving through the crowd we socialized with all races and cultures. Trinis, Tobagoians' and foreigners... and everyone had one thing in common - they were all enjoying themselves. During the course of the night (well early morning) we got a chance to catch up with Ross, the club's manager, who shared with us us the scene for their weekly hot nights. Thursdays - a social lime starting at 9:00pm which includes free entry and a guest DJ passing through, Fridays - a night party featuring reggae, dancehall and soca music starting around 10:00pm (around $40TT entry, with an average of 1,000 patrons) and Saturdays - an eclectic mix of music with about 600 people attending.

So what we know about Tobago’s night life and what it has in common to Trini's.... the party doh done til mornin'. As we were leaving, we hear someone say, "Store Bay?"
