Zen Rooftop hosts the Amateurs on a weekly basis nearly each every Friday evening. TJJ has been in de mix every now and again but decided to pass through this particular Friday because of the special occasion at hand. Yes folks, Che was celebrating his birthday tonight.

Well it was one of those Friday nights where we just had to be all over de place. At one point in time we were at Movie Towne, the next minute we over at Zen and before we knew it, at Lions Club. We even pit stopped at 51 degrees, hoping to catch up with some foreign TJJ crew (D Original Lime Flavour) who was in Trini for the weekend. Due to time constraints, such didn't end up happening.

Anyways, here is a little run down of how de action was while we were up at Rooftop. The music was flowing as usual with Ravin of the Amateurs handling the 1’s and 2’s most of the night (cah expect de birthday boy to wuk to hard on this night now can we??!!). The crowd seemed a bit larger than what we are usually accustomed to seeing on a regular Friday. Most folks seemed a bit more jolly tonight as well. So much so, that for a minute there, they had us wandering if it was an open bar night... humm. There was also a birthday entourage present, easily identifiable by their masks, beads and red handcuffs. A small 3 man rhythm section was also part of the night's entertainment, stirring up excitement in de air.

The TJJ Family would definitely like to wish Che a Happy Birthday! Until the next one, this is D Local Juice checkin' out.
