Road trip!!! Well boy, I cyar tell allyuh the last time I went to a college fete! But it’s Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons and The Asylum Band at Binghamton University’s Caribbean Student Association Annual Carnival and TJJ could not pass up the chance to hit the road with them. Stay tuned for the scoop on that coming soon on TJJ TV - another original series coming soon!

Anywho, eeeeefff allyuh see de mob of people on the outside trying to get in. Security had dem teeny boppers wrangled up like cattle! Lol! Fight bruck out all kina ting! I swear it was a sight to see. These darn kids! Harumph!

Well the turnout is understandable because the lineup included Serani, Assassin, Destra & Atlantik and of course as I mentioned, the King and Queen; Bunji and Fay-Ann and The Asylum Band. Y’all should know by now I must mention fabulous fashion however ... crickets... there was none! Lots of skin though, but that is a whole other issue. It was a sad state of affairs folks. Black Chiney's Walshy Fire had the mic burning up as the DJ turned the gym into a bonafide sweatbox! The dancehall was on point. Nobody wasn’t really studin' to pose for pictures. Everybody was busy getting on with some jamishness that was borderline ... well let’s just say that some of those moves were quite personal. smile

With the ruckus on the outside under control, it was finally showtime. Yaaayyy! Serani ("No Games") and Assassin ("Step Pon Dem"; "No Boring Gal") had the young girls bawlin' for dey mudda, I swear! Had to check my ears for blood! After that set can you say “Fiiiiiyyyyyuuurrrree!!!!” Bunji set it off! Again, I had to check my ears! Lol! It was bacchanal in dat gym, lawd ah mussy!! There was a sea of flags and rags. Damn college kids!!! If yuh see wildness! Doh talk for when the Queen stepped onstage!!! Hahahahah! I could not stop laughing, not because it was funny but everyone dam near flipped out! "Get On ... Get On ... Get On"!!!!! Talk about commanding a crown! Fay-Ann win!!! She had dem running left right center ... make a big circle ... close de circle ... REAL MADNESS!!!!!

The Soca Power Duo truly brought the house down!!! Lawd! Hits left and right, then Dane Gulston beat the ish outta dat pan! “Play de pan like a mechanic!” Dane was all under de pan! Wheeeeyyyyy!!! Skillllzzz! My boy, Scarface also flipped everyone out with his big chunes! Wait show nah done yet!

Destra and Atlantik finished off the jam packed gymnasium. It was all kinds of waving and wining. Eh heh, well yuh done know she invited the young girls to have a wine off! By then camera batteries dead and the Jamaican WIN WIN WIN! You ever see a trembling split wine combo? Hiyayay! Now I can’t say that I would go again, but that show was a bess college show!!!

Petite out!
Still in disbelief...
