For me it wasn't T.G.I.F ... it was actually, "I can't believe that it's Friday already!!" Too much liming on ah school night does cause dat!! With Obama taking de White House, it was "Fete After Fete" in the Nation's Capital. No time to cat nap before I make my way to mash up de "Reminisce" edition of Caribbean 1st Friday down at the Zanzibar on the Waterfront. Cast still foundation; Hazzard, Spyda and GB God Bless from NY.

We stumbled out of the newly renovated Rocket Bar in Chinatown after a grueling lime and even more serious business involving rounds of whiskey. Team TJJ made our way down see what Klimaxx Entertainment had in store for the masses. I ent telling nobody where I does park... it take too long to find that spot only to have every man jack in it already ... just know that it safe like Selassie-I brief case.

Braps ... we there and inside it must be all one o'clock now. Dance ram and it's all DJ Hazzard fault. Unfortunately by the time I reach, DJ Spyda was long gone, so I ent know, but it must of partially been his fault too. By de time people hear soca fuh so and GB God Bless take over with DJ Super Slice on de mic calling people from here and there to do dis and dat, place in ah frenzy!

CFF (Caribbean First Fridays) is like that place that Sanchez had sing about ... nice cozy place to go and and listen to some nice chunes and bubble whole night. But den GB try and change up de set and play some dub ... "Who say do dat?" People bawl till de man had was to put back on de Soca. It was dat kinda party ... DJ play what de people want and de people thank de bumsie they was wining with for it!!

CFF is a staple of DC and we had a good time as usual. Next month look out for my camera girl.
