Ok Ladies & Gents... here we go again ... Roy Wilkens Park in Queens, NY - great location with wide open spaces - this time for a different event. It seem that every time this Jungle Juicer visits this park, it rains! I asked myself, "Do I bring the rain or does it just sneak up behind me?" smile

It's a nice Sunday afternoon and I’m on my way to the park for the 3rd Annual Chutney in Da Park, sponsored by Club Tobago. Walking in, first thing you heard was Gemini Band blazing their riddims. Oh gosh, looking around the park I saw what I’ve been missing for the last 2 years. By the way, I bounce up half the people I know (some that I haven't seen in ages). And I heard there were people present from all over - Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and even New Jersey & Connecticut.

While walking around and mingling with everyone, I stopped by a group sitting under a tree. They were truly enjoying this Sunday lime ... apparently they met up with some TJJ crew at Caribana' 08 too. Much luv to meh Guyanese crew unda da tree! Still making my way around, I spotted another crew ... this time in a tent. Of course, ah had to pop meh head in and catch some photos .. big up Kronicle Movements!

Mind you, I still walking around, it seems that every tent or group I stopped by, I was either offered some food or ah drink! I must say this crowd was the friendliest I’ve ever encountered so far!!! Thanks for the love folks!!

Ok back to the show ... so from way back I spot a dance troupe coming on stage ... and what a great performance as they worked da crowd and their waistlines!! Ages ranging from 5yrs to 12yrs, these ladies know how to mash up a dance!!

All in all, the show was smashing and the dance performances were a hit ... TnT's #1 Soca Chutney band Dil-E-Nadan did their ting. The Shark & Bake was delicious ... Yum! Ohhh yea, can’t forget Denise & Fareed ... thanks for the shelter, when da rain came pouring down!
