With summer breezes in full effect and hot sun blazin’ all day long, yuh know we had to have ah last cool down session. There was no other place to do this than the Palazzo Patio for this FOAM FETE is the CARIBANA MEETS CROP OVER EDITION, brought to you by Uncle B, We Vibez and Soca Therapy.

TJJ went shoppin’ to make sure we had our swim gear on point, so once we reached it was all about getting weeeeeeeeeet! *lol* We arrived at Palazzo around 11pm and the parking lot was full of fete-go’ers dressed in bikini tops and swim trunks. It looked like we were attending ah pool party, yes!

Once inside, the bubbles were already floating around and people were doin’ de slip and slide dance. Droppin’ all de big chunes were, Dr. Jay de Soca Prince and Crystal Vibez .. all hosted by E Man de man with the steel. The music was pumpin’ all night as fete-go’ers anticipated the surprise artist. Now de advertisement stated that “he” or “she” was coming straight from Barbados, so yuh know the Bajan crew was well excited! *lol* After thinkin’ about the biggest songs out of Crop Over this year, there coulda only been one man we were feelin’ for ... Yes! Yes! Yesssssss boss!!!!!! Direct from Barbados, Stabby de Guard stepped onto the stage in his sargeant’s attire and green gator shoes to mash up the dance. As he moved around the stage like a snake, the ladies couldn’t get enough of him. They were all chanting, “Go Stabby ... Go Stabby ... Stabbbbbby!!!!!” After watchin’ him wuk’up on stage we were all hyped up, so we took a jump in de foam with the Soca crews.

Hours later, the party was still packed .. full of fete-go’ers bubblin’ in de bubbles and enjoyin’ de hot summer night. They were too busy jammin’ on one another to even realize they were getting soakin’ weeeeeet! *lol* We danced up until about 3:30am, and then slowly started exiting the venue. With ah nice head and our clothes soaking wet, it was all about heading straight home. No corn soup tonight, jes ah hot cup of tea and some Epsom salts to soak in! smile
