What happens in Casino Royale, stays in Casino Royale!

On July 9th, new mas band Elements held their Media Launch at Movie Towne. Now some say Elements is a breakaway from the ever so popular TRIBE mas band, while others dispute this fact. Who is to say? All we can say is that Elements seem to have their act together, and are preparing to come out for the Carnival 2009 season with a bang. And from what we gathered, it looks like quite a vast, well known and influential committee have come together to share their passion and dreams regarding the formation of this new mas band.

Going with the theme “Casino Royale”, Elements chose to further enhance the concept in the minds of the media and other special invited guests by holding the launch at an actual casino, ironically called Casino Royale. All the slot machines and casino tables definitely added a nice touch to the overall ambiance.

Tonight was just a preview (or tease if you prefer), as only two sections were showcased. These were “Jubilee” – a costume that depicts Las Vegas Show girls, with a colour scheme of Fuchsia, Orange & AB Crystal. The other section was “Cabaret” – a depiction of Broadway Musical Actresses, with colour scheme consisting mainly of Teal, contrasting with shades of Green & Gold.

Everything is looking quite interesting thus far for yet another promising TnT Carnival. On August 8th at Las Vegas (Pier 1), we shall see the unveiling of the rest of Elements' Mas Presentation for 2K9.
