"Oh Horrrr .. Now I Get It!!!!"

Walking into Flight WI, one couldn't help but wonder, "Where did the promoters come up with the name?" These are the same guys (Islands United, Island Elite and Hybrid) that bring us other big events such as Naked, Big Phat Fish and Blink. But we jus could not figure out where this idea came from? Never mind the fact that we had been to the aptly theme'd venue 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant many times before. Never mind the fact that the venue is located across the road from the runways of Miami Int'l Airport where you see all the planes taking off all night long, just like on the event's flyer. Nope ... even with all these clues ah just couldn't figure out how they came up with the idea for this party? Now all of a sudden, those sexy flight attendant outfits the girls at the door wear don't seem so odd anymore!

One thing that is quite obvious, is that this is one of the most enjoyable events on the scene down here in South Florida. Aero Squadron has always proved to be one of the better venues, and with the Soca room on the inside, and moved to the bigger ballroom, there is something for everyone. The first thing we noticed driving up to the venue, was the line formed outside - always a good sign! Actually, the very first thing we noticed was the security guard informing everyone of the parking cover charge for the back parking lot (next time we ga reach earlier before the front parking lot full up). Then we noticed the line, and THEN all the women on the line!! Yep, there is always an abundance of well dressed, sexy women at Flight WI and the "Destination Tokyo" edition was no different! But for some reason, not all of sexy women smiled as they saw us walking past them to the front of the line for some First Class treatment ... aye, TJJ are frequent flyers and have Elite travel status!! Later on, Sig Juice got held up at the the door upon entry, luckily Jono was able to rescue her from a full cavity search by TSA .. but with a name like "Sig Juice", yuh bound to raise suspicion! (lol)

With the likes of Niko Star on the outside and Dorenzo and Eternal Vibes inside the Soca Room, the music was on point all night long ... and we do mean all long night!! When we left at around 4:30 AM, most of the party-go'ers were still inside and the music was still pumpin'. Such is the benefit when your only neighbor is an airport runway!
