Remember how back in the day, your friends and family would go away on a trip and a few days later you would get a postcard in the mail. It would be a picture of some scenic setting of wherever they were and it would say "Wish You were HERE!" Yeah right, you just knew they were having so much fun that they could care less if you were there or not!! Well that's what the flyer for this party reminded us of, somebody in C2k8 having a helluva time, only this time we are not planning to miss out completely. This episode of FRIENDS happened to fall on Carnival Saturday and even if we not in sweet TnT, it's still Carnival Saturday, so we made our way down to Sosta Lounge to party with the rest of us poor souls who had not made the trek home.

It goes without saying that the crowd on this night was smaller than we usually expect at FRIENDS because of everyone was actually in Trini. Even C.I.Dee Sound was missing in action, so Major Links and special guest DJ Dorenzo was left to hold it down on the metaphorical music truck on this night. Switching sets back and forth and keeping those of us that came out jumping and waving. Even blessing us with some 2008 Soca hits, helping to ease the pain ever so slightly.

With a couple of them strong drinks from the bar in our system, and the decent sized crowd that had finally built up, everyone was able to let loose and have a time. If yuh walking out of a fete sweaty from wining .... yuh had a good time, no matter where that fete was! Next month for the March MADNESS fete its gonna be out of control with everyone back in South FL, and we hear C.I.Dee Sound - fresh from taking in all the new music and fetes - go kill them with all the hot 2008 Soca, yuh know we go be there "Blazin' D Trail"!
