While we still recovering from the T&T 2008 Carnival Fetalotathon®, everyone in South Florida was gearing up for Generation X's Annual J'Ouvert All Inclusive. This was my 1st fete since leaving sweet T&T, but I'm trying to avoid the "Carnival Blues" Daddy Juice mentioned in his Flip Flips review.

As we were crossing the bridge entering the City of Key Biscayne, we saw cars on the street ... like the parking lot full? ... because the only time yuh see cars on the street is when Bayside Hut is RAM JAM! Parking was a little challenging, but thanks to Gen X for assisting us and getting us inside the fete with zero wait time. Time to capture the J'Ouvert madness!!

There were three lines to get in the fete: tickets, without tickets and guest list, so with this method in place, the lines were moving at a rapid pace. We see some of fellas made sure to walk with their Super Soakers ... and if you asking yourself what is a Super Soaker, it's a pump action water gun (www.supersoaker.com). These water guns could squirt water FAR FAR!

Well Gen X wasn't skylarking when they say paint, mud, water and powder ... partygoers were lined up next to d'Truck just to get dirty up. And the Gen X girls were ready to ambush anyone that was to stay clean!! Like they say, "Yuh carrrr play mas if yuh fraid powder!!"

If you see the crowd getting on to de sweet sounds of Soca, DJs like Chris from Sel Construction, House Arrest and Dorenzo to name a few were in attendance. Popular 2008 Soca tunes like "Breathless", "Get On", "Defense (The Anthem)" and "Blazin D Trail" had partygoers going' mad with rhythm. It was another spectacular fete by Gen X ... we're looking forward for their Annual Spring Break Wet Fete on Sat March 29th.
