Alright D’ Young Juice again alongside DJ Red, in our beautiful sister island Tobago just checking out the scene and doing a little coverage, not to mention it's Halloween night and we hear Tobago does things a little different.

So initially we were at Tobago’s Channel 5 doing a little TV interview and letting the folks of Tobago know what TJJ is all about, and how “de juice flows”. The interviews were done by Latoya Williams who hosts a talk show called “Total Lockdown” which is produced and aired live every Friday night from 7:30 – 9:00. The show is similar to Synergy Nights, as it highlights any events, artiste, promoters and even the average person on the streets that has something to offer to Tobago.

After the interview wrapped up we left Channel 5, chilled for a while and then made our way to The Shade night club to check out the vibes. It was a little after midnight and The Shade being the hottest nightspot in Tobago was packed, and the vibes was continuously growing. The Shade, continually doing different things, brought an upcoming sound system, Machine Press, to mash up the dance on the 1’s & 2’s. They took control and bwoy they really did a good job having the crowd eating out of their hands as they released tune after tune.

Now folks in Tobago looked like they weren’t too hot and sweaty off of the Halloween vibes and tradition, and most folks didn’t really dress up in any sort of costumes. From what it looked like, they just came to enjoy the music, drinks and vibes ... costumes seemed way past being secondary on their agenda.

As usual, the night continued with a blast of music and flowing drinks and we doing we ting til de break of dawn! Next stop ... breakfast, and then to the beach for “Beach House Saturdays.”
