The city of Atlanta came alive on Saturday July 19th, once again at Endenu Bar and Lounge located at 393 Marietta St. This time it was for the much anticipated 'Jazz & The City', and we at Trini Jungle Juice have to kept our promise of providing our loyal viewers with exclusive entertainment coverage around the world - and Jazz & The City was definitely exclusive!

Becoming the new hot spot to host various types of events in Atlanta, Endenu Bar and Lounge welcomed one of the most popular Jazz bands in Atlanta - Days Ahead. Prior to their arrival on the stage, the influx of people into Endenu seemed almost endless. As the crowd made their way to decorated tables, located in the open area of the venue, the earlier Jazz bands kept the appreciative fans upbeat and alive, satisfying their thirst for this monthly event.

With the decorum in order, the evening was complimented by the beautiful women and sophisticated men in attendance. All in attendance carried warm smiles, probably from the many empty glasses of wine that we saw on the tables. The bar staff kept the drinks flowing, and the kitchen staff was on point with their array of appetizers. The promoters even made it a point to have gift vendors present to facilitate the growing demand for both Jazz CD's and eccentric handmade jewelry. Good call.

As the evening moved on, the buzz in the air was that Kim - lead vocalist for Days Ahead - was about to take to the stage. As we made our way stage side, Kim had already gotten the packed house attention just with her microphone check. We had to do the Flavor Flav on this one, "Wwwoooooooowwwwwwww!!" Guess what people? You had to be there!! And for those of you that were, you know what we are taking about!! Even a couple of the hosts for the evening, Anasa and Ivo, had to stop and take a look. As the band struck up, Kim, dressed in a beautiful white top, denim jeans and a pair of sandals, sat her glass of water down and began to sing. Even with her eyes closed, she was absolutely captivating. Days Ahead are more like "Years Ahead"!! The audience just loved them.

As the evening began its decline into the morning, the audience carried a look on their faces as if to say that they were not ready to leave. Yes people, it was that good! But as they say, all good things must come to an end. We left the scene just about 1am. Much respect to Ivo for your hospitality, always ensuring that we remained hydrated. And to the nieces, keep those smiles going ladies. Much love also goes out to Aba and Janvieve. Thanks guys. Jazz lovers ... see you at next month edition on Friday Aug 15th!
