Jewel events are known for their well dressed, very select crowd. Their events are always All Inclusive and the venues usually offer a great view of Miami, like the Penthouse clubhouse in Aventura for their New Year's Eve party, or the spectacular view of the city from the Havana Club.

The Organized Crime Edition was no different. As usual, the venue was kept a secret until you purchased a ticket. We arrived fairly early, around 1AM, to the address on Bayshore Drive in Downtown Miami. The small parking lot was near capacity, so we squeezed the TJJ mobile into a spot and headed for the front door. As we entered the building, we headed straight for the bar ... you know how we do. On the way from the door to the bar, we saw a Casino area with Table Games which included Roulette, Black Jack and even Craps for those wishing throw some dice like the Vegas high rollers. There was a indoor area where the DJ area was setup, and Walshy Fire was on the set mixing things up.

We exited into the backyard where most folks had gathered, but this was where the bar (and food tent) was located. Food or Drinks, Drinks or Food? We chose drinks first, but the wide variety of selections under the food tent was too good to pass up, so that was our next stop. Most folks were mingling in this outdoor area, enjoying the cool night's weather and the view of the Bay in Miami. Later on, in an effort to consolidate party-go'ers into one area, the bar was moved indoors. And of course, everyone followed. At this time, Delano of Renaissance Disco was taking his turn on mixer and then announced a surprised guest artist for the evening. The one Mr. SKHI was in attendance, and blessed the dance with his 2k8 hit tune "Desire".

If you're looking out for the next Jewel Miami event, stay tuned...
