Wazzup mi gente? Panidad here coming out from hibernation after an interesting summer in Barbados (Crrrrops!) and St. Vincent and the Grenadines! A bit early I might add though, as Miami Carnival is not quite here yet, but hey! Daddy Chooks and Victor Lewis from VicRae Management gave me the heads up on an intimate performance of LEON & The Peoples @ On The Rox, right above the world famous The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For those of you that don't know about LEON & The Peoples, it's a smooth Reggae/Soul band based in New York City (www.leonandthepeoples.net). Led by accomplished actor, singer and song writer, LEON & The Peoples gave a very refreshing yet electrifying concert ... I mean I was there busy working, yet found myself shaking what my mama gave me ... more than once too!!

LEON & The Peoples is promoting their new album called 'The Road Less Traveled' featuring Syleena Johnson, Tony Rebel and Tanto Metro.

The crowd, in typical Hollywood style, had celebrities like actor Miguel A. Nuñez (photo), former L.A. Laker and ex-hubby of Vanessa Williams, Rick Fox (photo) and Kimberly from the Pussy Cat Dolls (photos), among others that were also jammin'.

Other Californians and total Leon followers, (borderline stalkers if you ask me, hehehe) simply could not have enough of the music and the pictures taken with Leon, as it's obvious in this gallery!

It was a great Friday night, short but sweet! Next stop... The High Times 2008 Stony Awards. Exclusive TJJ Hollywood coverage … Yeaaah baby!!
