What's up my Kings and Queens? When TJJ heard about the Mr. Vegas Video and Single release for "Mus Come A Road", we just had to be there! D'crew rolled troo to Melting Pot - Caribbean Afterwork Thursdays and were greeted with catered food from Golden Crust (yummers) and a huge projection screen that hung from the ceiling in preparation for viewing the much anticipated music video. Throughout the night, Vegas fans were treated to a reel that played his videos and interviews all night long.

We made our way upstairs to V.I.P. (nuff respect to Kelly-Ann) and checked the scene. I always love seeing Young Caribbean Professionals get down at an after work party. Ties in the air, heels off, no behavior! I wouldn't have it any other way! Jah Melody and "Original JEWmaican" Benny Bwoy were already enjoying the vibe and jammin' to the sounds of Dr. Wax and Natural Freaks when we reached. We made our way to a booth, gift bag with CDs and music videos in hand check! Then, the man of the hour arrived looking particularly dapper in white, if I do say so myself. As Mr. Vegas was getting ready for his set, a surprise! Jah Melody performed and the crowd went wild. I love surprises. It set the perfect setting for what was to come.

Mr. Vegas got on stage and tore up the crowd and then presented his video. Everyone watched with wide eyes and danced to the infectious tune. It was definitely a hit. I tell you everything this man touch turns to a hit! It's a great feeling knowing you're seeing something for the first time before everyone. All in all, a good night with great chunes, and great people. Just another typical Thursday for the TJJ crew.
