If yuh ever been to ah Shine Breakfast party before, two tings yuh will know for sure 1. Mostly everybody will be in yellow and 2.) The fete rhel nice!! Now the TJJ crew cah tek no heat fuh not turning up in yellow because it would have required too many costume changes for the back-to-back Carnival sessions.

The vibes at the party was mellow as the small crowd on hand turned this New York (and now Miami) concept fete into ah sweet lime, which included non other than Soca artists Neil 'Iwer' George, Peter Ram and Jamesy P. All of whom were having a good time - some wit de bottle of Hennesy so to speak!

At any rate, the TJJ Family was on location (as usual), giving much support to one of the biggest DJs in the Soca business today, Back to Basics (B2B). Dat Ricardo could play music boy ... geez n ages!! Even with the handful of people gathered, one can still find time to throw some waist to the various mixes... just ask de Point Fortin posse on deck! Other than the headache of trying to find (brudda, thank de laud for GPS) the Cartel Mansion, which had a nice backyard setting, the limers were not ready to leave dis fete, knowing that the best of the best was playing. Much respect to the Blazin 98 Crew who also helped with organizing the party.

Shine ATL will have a lot of catching up to be on par with MIA and NY editions, BUT there's no doubt that a hit party is in de making. All in all, ATL fete-go'ers got a good taste of B2B, and one can expect that true Breakfast Party lovers will be looking forward to Shine ATL '09!
