"Boom Bang Bang", is what TJJ would call this event! For those of you who don't know what the term means, translation ... it was great! De dance sell off! Yes people, I'm talking about Titan's "The 1". This year was the party's 4th installment, held on July 11th at Uno Trafford Stadium. In local terms, Minshall Mas Camp, Chagaramas.

The theme was a World Cup of drinks. The great part of the theme was that all drinks cost patrons ONLY $1TT dollar, no lie! The bar would not even take a hundred dollar note from you. You must have a $1 bill in hand to purchase a drink. For those who didn't, a DOLLAR BANK was created to change money. I know the fellas enjoyed changing their money as they were greeted by two lovely ladies. These sexy bankers even counted some fellas currency extra slow, exciting a couple of them at times. Don't ask me how we know that ... lol!

The night's drinks were an ALL STAR line up team. The goal keeper was no-alco drinks. The three defenders were Black Label Rum, Grey Goose Vodka and Stag. Six midfielders - Hennessy, Red Bull, Baileys, Malibu, Patron Tequila and Dooley. The 1 forward - Johnnie Walker Black. All drinks were created into a football team (who say Soca Warriors?). Great thinking Titan. We loved the concept.

Meanwhile partygoers got their drink and two step on as various DJ's played. Titan and his brother, both dressed in white, brought down the house by going old school with some classics like Colin Lucas 1991 hit ''Dollar Wine" and the crowd favorite from Fresh Prince "Jump On It". Of course, they had the mixture of Soca, R&B, Rap etc. as usual.

It has been a while since we have gone to a party and saw people who were not afraid to show their true colours. It was wine down low and touch your toes and every dance you could think about! smile We're not sure if that was due to the alco though ... lol. Well as an extra precaution to insuring people's safety, the bar was closed off 45 mins before the event was over.
