Hey TJJ Family!

This your boy Ray J checking in from Trincity Mall at THE COOL & KARM, an event to promote and launch the release of a CD from an upcoming local artiste by the name of Jessie Peters (JP).

Jessie has been working tirelessly towards his first music CD alongside his music producer Brendon Starr of Area 51 Music who was also the host of the event. CDs and “Cool & Karm” jerseys were available for sale and given that this was a family event there were free giveaways for the children and adults, from the Cool & Karm sponsors, Twist and Shark, along with music by Step-Up Promotion.

Kicking off the show was an emotion filled performance by JP himself and another upcoming artiste, Candace. From there the performances flowed one after the next, showcasing a wide array of local artistes both known and unknown, each bringing their own flavor and genre of music. The Trincity Mall crowd was well entertained by local names such as Raphael, Dawn, Nano, Brendon Starr, Jay Dakid, Face Off, Fusion, Shines (The Hood’s Greatest) and some past Synergy Soca Stars, Lion-I and Hypnotic.

Squeezy Ranking and Fireball had even pass through to show their support to the local music. There was a little something for everyone, young and old, with lots of entertainment in between there was even a Def Poet, K. Sway, displaying his lyrical talent reciting a poem entitled, "Love and Lust".

Overall the day was a great success and a fantastic demonstration of the amount of talent our country has to offer. Looking forward to what next these young artistes has in store for us, but in the mean time ... this is Ray J from TJJ signing out.

Catch you on the flip side!
