'Bajan & Trini Boatride' Part 3 Date: Saturday 18th July 2009 Location: Circle Line Cruises. It's that time of year again ... 2B and Dickeyman Promotions big Wuk & Wine Boatride. Surprisingly we arrived early this year after being fashionably late last year (view coverage). As we pulled up to the pier, we couldn't help but notice that enormous turn out. Is it just me ... I swear it's about 300 more people from last year's already sold out boat ride I started wondering where all these people were going to fit, but then it dawned on me that Circle Line now has a new huge boat that's perfect for an event like this! I took about 5 laps around the pier and realized I only knew about 5 people. I know, that's strange ... but, I forgot it's a Bajan boat ride as well, and from the looks of it I swear they out numbered us Trini's this year! After mingling and ole talking with my peeps from Queens, we started boarding and waited to set sail.
Okay, so this is a boat ride right but I'm seeing everyone dragging coolers behind them. Hummm ... I'm confused. Now when I gone to maco, you know the coolers were filled with apple juice and water. I say no more!! Let's just say that I figured out my beverage of choice for the evening - Apple Juice - lol, it's time to get down to business. At this time, everyone was on the outer deck enjoying the beautiful NYC lights and swaying to sweet rhythm from the Trinbago Massive Rhythm section. DJs Foreign Bass and Catman added to the vibes as well. Before heading back to the pier, we made sure that we ate ... and of course took one last small wine (and wuk up) before heading out. Carlvon, Curtis and my Bajan peeps ... thanks for having us once again. For the next one, we're bringing the official TJJ Cooler ... lol. Loving
