Yes, Appleton is hosting a Worldwide Cocktail competition to find the Cocktail Maker that is the most creative with their World famous rum.

So what better way for the Cayman Carnival Batabano Committee, in partnership with Appleton Estate along with Presenting Sponsor LIME, to kick off this year's Cayman Carnival Batabano than with this exciting event as each of the Cocktail Pro's vied for a place in the televised World Final to represent Cayman in Jamaica.

For $35, you had all you can drink Appleton drinks, food and entertainment. Patrons got an opportunity to sample the cocktails and have their say as to which they thought were the best, while socializing with the island's who's who. Entertainment included a brilliant mime show, and we ran into Trinibagoian Soca artiste, Shurwayne Winchester, who was relaxing on the night.
