Explorers Annual Charity Picnic Benefits Needy Families
September 5, 2007 Port of Spain, Trinidad... On Sunday August 26, 2007, veteran entertainment management and consultancy company, The Julius Caesar Entertainment Company presented The Picnic, its first annual charity family day. The sprawling grounds at Yellow Stone Park, Santa Barbara Boulevard in Santa Cruz was set-up with a variety of booths and activities to accommodate a host of interests for all family members.
For the children, Yogis Playground featured a bouncy castle along with free popcorn and a Johnsons Baby Changing Station including a full range of Johnsons baby products. The Garden Club offered mummies their own space to relax while sipping on their choice of either Chilean red or French white wines and nibbling on an assortment of crackers and cheeses including Mozzarella, Brie, Swiss and Monterey Jack provided by popular wine bistro, More Vino. Throughout the day, the men entertained themselves on The Playing Field with a friendly five-a-side football tournament.
The Picnic is part of Julius Caesars newest initiative, The Explorers, which aims to provide entertainment for both children and adults. According to Julius Caesar founder, Jules Sobion, The Explorers signals a new era for Julius Caesar. We are no longer solely interested in the promotion of themed party events. We have broadened our scope to include family-oriented activities that educate, engage and entertain children, youth and families as a whole and are concerned with giving back to the community. At this years picnic, all patrons were encouraged to be part of the Julius Caesar I Can Help charity drive by donating canned food to the Rotary Clubs Kids In Need of Direction (KIND). To underline Julius Caesars commitment to charitable causes, this day of family bonding will be called The Charity Picnic in future years.
