A Trinbago Christmas Carol that Dispels the ColdPort of Spain – The giving of gifts, the warm Christmas cheer and the warm Christmas spirit is portrayed in Mr. Sterling E. Hunte’s carol. For the season he is releasing a Christmas Carol entitled “Christmas Celebration.” This gospel song reminds everyone of the birth of Jesus Christ and the love and joythat we all share around this time of year.

Even though Sterling is far from home in Trinidad and Tobago his musical style still reflects bits of his and our culture. Perhaps it can be attributed to the cold weather in Calgary, but nevertheless his voice is reminiscent of the warm baritones’ classic of yester-year. This single is intended to be the first in a series of releases on homesoil.

This artist has been in the musical business for over fifteen years. He took part and placed sixth in Trinidad and Tobago’s musical festival as a youth, and after residing in Liverpool and moving on to Canada, he found opportunities in composing and playing music with the panorama steel band. He wrote a song for the 1988 Winter Olympics which gave him gave some recognition and ignited his musical career. He played in concertwith the “Nylons,” and the Calgary Philharmonic in 1994.

Recording artist Sterling Hunte is a recent winner of the Calgary Calypso Monarch Competition. Currently, Sterling is working on his second album, which will be gospel, due for release next year. This will be the followup to his first CD entitled “Sterling’s Own” which was recorded under Sterling’s Own Music Production. For further information, you may contact Stacy Wyke at (868) 777 7978.
