Julius Caesar Welcomes Sailors From Home And Abroad Aboard The Love BoatEntertainment Management Company Offers Annual Christmas Night Reunion Party On Water

December 18, 2007 – Port of Spain, Trinidad... On Christmas night, Tuesday December 25, 2007, veteran entertainment management and consultancy company, The Julius Caesar Entertainment Company, will host its sixth annual Christmas celebration, Christmas Passion VI: The Love Boat, in the Grand Ballroom on board the elegant Ocean Pearl vessel.

This year, Julius Caesar offers patrons from home and abroad a twist on its traditional Christmas with the introduction of a costume sailor theme reminiscent of both The Love Boat and traditional sailor mas. Christmas Passion VI is a throw back to the post World War II era in Trinidad and Tobago when sailor mas was a recurring theme for all mas-men who chose to mimic the nation’s US visitors. The Love Boat takes us back to that time of merriment and abandonment ushering in the 2008 Carnival season with a concept that marries Christmas to this Carnival legacy. Guests are encouraged to join in the festivities by dressing in fashionable white or red sailor garb while taking advantage of sailor body art and temporary tattoos offered by Body Art Caribbean. Renowned Carnival King, Geraldo Viera Jr., will transform the luxurious ballroom of the floating hotel to create an ambience portraying the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

Julius Caesar’s Creative Director, Jules Sobion eagerly prepares for his latest themed offering. “This year’s experience reflects the evolution of the Passion theme which was born out of my desire to return to a true Trinbagonian Christmas party during my university years. The sailor concept excites me because I feel that the idea is fresh and is something that Passion fans will relate to and really participate in,” he said. Christmas Passion, which began in 2002, came out of the joint efforts of a group of foreign-based university students, F1, who began promoting an annual reunion-type party prior to Christmas night. In an attempt to develop the F1 concept and offer a party that would bring friends and family together, Julius Caesar introduced the party for which it is best known. Annually, university students and young professionals based both in Trinidad and Tobago and abroad look forward to this seasonal experience which has become a memorable Christmas tradition for many.

All are encouraged to spread the love on board the Christmas Passion Love Boat which will be docked for the entire night at Pier II, Chaguaramas from 10:00 p.m. till 5:00 a.m. Guest DJ Detrimental featuring Private Ryan will bring a foreign flavour alongside resident DJs, Ruan Brown and Johann Joseph a.k.a. J-Lava of Xplosion offering an eclectic mix of new and old party favourites including a sneak peak of the hottest sounds for Carnival 2008. Popular rhythm section, The Hands of Rhythm, will enhance the festive atmosphere with traditional Christmas vibrations and fusion soca parang. Party-goers will have the option of partaking in Christmas platters and 2 for 1 Carib specials.
