Grenada Got TempoTempo, the Caribbean’s Premier Entertainment Network will be landing in Grenada on March 3rd 2007. World Class Entertainment along with main sponsors: bmoblie and Carib Beer will give Tempo a huge welcome, proudly hosting “Grenada Got Tempo” a concert to be held at the Drive-in Cinema Lawn in St. Georges. The hottest local Soca and Reggae artists will be tearing up the stage along side special guest performers Richie Spice and Gyptian. Emceeing the powerhouse concert from 6pm until midnight will be Grenada’s own Fatman George. Appearing on-stage and in the mix will be Tempo’s VJ’s The Empress Jeanille and Island Girl Anuscha.

In the days leading up to and following the Grenada Got Tempo concert Tempo will be filming a brand new episode of Downtown Island highlighting Grenada’s hotspots. And just to add another layer to the action, the local program D'lyme will be following Jeanille, Anushca and Tempo’s crew to film a special behind the scenes look at the making of Tempo’s Downtown Island.

"Grenada Got Tempo......it sure does, it's the spice island after all......can't wait to showcase that spice to the rest of the Caribbean, Tempo/Downtown Island style", said Frederick A. Morton, Jr., Senior Vice President, General Manager and Founder of Tempo.

For more than one year Tempo has successfully delivered programming dedicated to music, culture, food, and social awareness; a true celebration of Caribbean life beyond entertainment, rising to inspirational, progressive and educational.
