The resounding success of this track has commanded much attention in the international market, as it continues to receive excellent reviews on the music charts and consistent airplay, especially the USA where there is a strong West Indian presence in Miami, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Having had such a rewarding year thus far, one should not be surprised that this artiste whose songwriting and performance continues to improve yearly; has been nominated in two (2) categories at the 5th Annual International Soca Awards.

This event, which is the most prestigious awards show in the Soca recording industry has nominated Peter Ram for a total of five awards; Best New Male Soca Artist, Soca Song of the Year , Favourite Up-Tempo Soca (Male), Best Soca Music Video and two (2) awards in the Best Soca Re-Mix Collaboration; featuring remixes with Shurwayne Winchester and Vybz Kartel.

Now in its fifth year, only a few Barbadian artistes have escalated to such a prestigious level in the international soca arena, and it can be said that Peter Ram is now in the top international soca arena ranking amongst persons such as; Edwin Yearwood, Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin and Kevin Lyttle.
