Richie Redz Representing Soca GloballyPort-Of-Spain, Trinidad - Trinidadian born, London based recording artiste Richard Questel known in the entertainment fraternity as "Richie Redz" is officially launching his three sizzling soca offerings for Carnival 2008.

On the heels of a successful U.K. release and a promotional tour in his land of birth, Trinidad, Richie Redz is presently debuting his music and unique soca sound to the global market.

A former native of Belmont, Port-Of-Spain (an area which was once home to fellow artistes such as David Rudder and 3 Canal's Wendel Manwarren), Richie discovered his passion for writing and performing music at a young age. Although he originally used his talent to create hip-hop music, it was upon his migration to England that he reconnected with his Caribbean roots and committed himself to writing and singing the music of his heritage.

His three new releases, which have already been getting positive feedback and great reviews from soca lovers, contains traditional soca fused with elements of European dance, hip-hop and house music. These tracks demonstrate his versatility and ability to connect with a range of music fans.

His first track "Behind De Truck" which is considered to be a "chippin" anthem, paints an interesting picture of T&T's Carnival road festivities, in which he directs "every woman to find a man" , while his second offering "Get On Bad" is definitely an energy pumping road tune, depicting the bacchanal that is Carnival.

Both tracks were written by him and co-produced by himself and Stylah of Iron Fist Productions.

A third track entitled, "Lose Control" which also written by him and co-produced in collaboration with U.K. based Producer Supa Soul Brotha Del, is set to be a hit both on the road and in the clubs.

Relatively new to the Soca scene, with a support and following in London, Richie Redz is currently working on tracks for his soon to be released album entitled "Sexy/Sweet/Soca/Sound".

He considers himself to be an average guy with above average musical goals. He is indeed dedicated to succeeding in the music industry, especially where Soca music (the music of his homeland) is concerned, as he intends to take his local art form to the masses.
